Anyway, it turns out to be wrong, yep, a complete legend.
Some students at the University of Salford studied this with the help of a duck named Daisy.
They worked out that a duck of a duck echoed, but it was really hard to hear because of the tone of shouting.
A ring is a blooming sound in and out, which creates echoes but it can easily be mixed with the original expression made.
So basically this means it's hard to tell each other apart.
