The US does not give vaccines to the world when people are not fully vaccinated
The US government is not expected to fund any Covid-19 vaccine until most of the population has been vaccinated.
A senior official in the US government on Feb. 18 said the country "is focusing on giving the Covid-19 vaccine to the people in the country".

The US official's statement comes after the nonprofit ONE Campaign released a report showing rich countries stockpiling one billion doses of Covid-19 vaccine over their necessary levels, leaving poor countries struggling to find.
The ONE Campaign said wealthy countries, such as the US and UK, should share excess vaccines to boost the global response against the Covid-19 pandemic.
United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres on 17/2 said the current distribution of Covid-19 vaccine is "very uneven and unfair".
French President Emanuel Macron then called on the US and some European countries to fund 5% of the total Covid-19 vaccines they had ordered.
Covid-19 appeared in 219 countries and territories, infected more than 110 million people, more than 2.4 million people died and nearly 86 million recovered.
